Our innovation for new opportunities… Empro® and Empro® Tex for unique plant based food applications
Plant-based proteins play an ever more important role in our daily nutrition. One reason for this is our growing population, which comes with an increased awareness of healthy eating. Furthermore, unlike animal proteins such as meat, gelatin, milk and egg products, plant-based proteins possess a considerably better ecobalance.
The most well-known plantbased proteins are soy and wheat. However, pea proteins are increasing in significance, since the demand for non-GMO and non-allergen products has continued to grow worldwide. Providing solutions for these trends, the Emsland Group offers innovative products
in the form of its new pea protein isolates Empro® E 86/ Empro® E 86 HV as well as extruded protein
crisps Empro® Tex.
Empro® and Empro® Tex can be used in a wide variety of applications, e.g. breakfast products, bars and snacks.
Our Empro® and Empro® Tex types provide important nutritional and functional benefits as well as easy handling and excellent characteristics:
• Plant-based protein
• Neutral taste
• High glutamic acids, arginine, and lysine content
• High protein content
• No sugar
• Kosher/ Halal (possible)
In this Webinar Emsland Group is presenting its latest innovations covering plant-based pea protein isolates and extruded protein crisps. We will explain the main characteristics, possible applications and product solutions. Emsland Group experts will stated out the main properties of our Empro® Types and let you know all details of these innovative products.
