Thomas Achhorner is a passionate business leader with a vision and the ability to execute it. Initially trained as an enterprise architect and IT project manager, he became a strategic advisor to major companies around the world, helping them leverage technology for competitive advantage.
His 30 years of executive and boardroom-level experience span Europe, Australia, Asia and the Americas.
During this time, he set up several strategic IT consulting practices and also drove the world's largest core banking replacement program at a leading Chinese bank.
More recently, Thomas focused on digital financial services and he also became an entrepreneur and angel investor.
He has published on digital ecosystems, big data and large-scale IT transformation.
He is a regular speaker at conferences and has lectured at a leading business school.
Thomas holds an MSc in Computer Science, Summa cum Laude, from the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland.
