Impact on healthcare
Due to increasing levels of healthcare spending combined with declining R&D returns, digital therapeutics (DTx) represent a new approach to treatment in which digital systems are used as regulatory-approved, prescribed therapeutic interventions. There is a growing number of DTx on the market today as well as pipeline products in development following the establishment of internationally-recognized, quality, design and manufacturing standards. DTx are expected to provide a new approach to disease management in which patients have the ability to learn more about their conditions and treatment options, thereby enabling better health and disease management. Despite these technologies having the potential to reduce total healthcare costs, improve trial outcomes and patients' health, there are few challenges to address before they become an integral part of modern medicine. For example, providers, payers, and manufacturers must achieve alignment on how to support the adoption of DTx in clinical practice.
In this webinar, GlobalData's Senior Healthcare Analyst, Alessio Brunello, MSc, will provide an overview of the key DTx available in the market and in the pipeline. The webinar will cover the current attitude of the healthcare industry towards DTx, the challenges and opportunities surrounding the adoption of DTx, and key requirements for success.
Dr. Valentina Gburcik, GlobalData's Senior Director, will moderate a Q&A session following the presentation. Join this webinar to increase your knowledge of the current outlook for DTx in healthcare
