How to Evaluate Key Criteria to Ensure Optimal Battery Selection for Telecom Applications

The continued growth of telecommunication back-up power requirements in an ever expanding world has changed the expectations with regards to battery performance. There are many different back-up power options with different costs and technical capabilities available on the market. Selection of the optimum technology to meet the application and service requirements is critical to reducing operation expenditure.

Designing the correct battery backup system must include aspects such as design life, cyclic life expectations, grid reliability, environmental conditions, space limitations, logistics & maintenance infrastructure etc.

During the webinar EnerSys will discuss the various application requirements and demonstrate how the introduction of Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) technology can meet the demands of a diverse nature of both grid tied and off-grid/ hybrid systems applications.
