How can mobile communication influence healthcare industries?

Today, chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, sleep apnea and other recurring diseases top the list of health threats worldwide. The cost of managing chronic conditions accounts for an estimated two-thirds of worldwide healthcare spending.

The healthcare industry is exploring the potential of wireless machine-to-machine (M2M) communications to streamline monitoring and reporting and the effects it will have on patient care. Cinterion, a Gemalto Company will explore how cellular M2M technology can compare and surpass a fixed line installation with the benefits to cost reduction, increased quality and quantity of data, improved quality of patient care and increased chances of patient continuation.

Learn from the director of Cinterion, Manfred Kube, how these new mobile systems allow greater transparency and provide quick and easy access to medical data while maintaining very stringent requirements for security, safety, and patient-doctor confidentiality and privacy.

This session will be driven by case studies exploring the challenges companies faced, preconceived opinions and rewards they were aiming to achieve. From their experiences you will gain clear insight into the fast evolving world of mobile solutions. So register here for this free 1 hour live webinar.
